Counselling, EMDR and commitment

I currently provide 20 counselling/EMDR slots each week, with one client filling each slot. Occasionally people require 2 slots per week, which I will do my best to accommodate.

I will commit to do all I can to be here for you each week and provide the right conditions to support your growth and change. This includes my commitment to attend regular clinical supervision, as is expected for all professional counsellors and psychotherapists, and ongoing training; so I can bring up to date ideas and perspectives to my work with you.

From experience, successful counselling involves a similar level of commitment from the client. This includes your commitment in time and a financial commitment.

I can offer weekly short-term counselling (typically 6-18 weeks) but am unable to offer alternating (fortnightly) sessions. There is an exception that for some clients, when ending, it can be appropriate to stagger alternating sessions for a short period of time.
